As part of the cheerful “Summer of Superman” initiative being conducted by DC Comics in support of James Gunn’s new Superman movie, comics shops this week saw an eye-catching anomaly: an oversized treasury-edition comic book called “Superman: Hero for All” written by fan-favorite Dan Jurgens and art by Bruno Rendondo (with a brief 8-page art insert by Jurgens himself, about which more later).
