A gem at the thrift shop

I had a guest last week at Hyde Cottage, and we logged a generous number of miles on the rental car by going out hunting for books. We visited plenty of the places you’d expect, actually second-hand bookstores, but we also did a good deal of searching in plain old thrift shops for which books are but one small part of their wares on offer.
